1. Sanitize and dry the Germinator chamber and cap with your preferred cleanser (Hydrogen Peroxide is suggested).
 
2. Place a layer of a wick able medium, such as organic cotton, soil, coco, paper towel or Rockwool in the bottom of the chamber, not to exceed a height that is half way to the height of the air vents. Using just one of the supplied cotton rounds is recommended.
 
3. Add nutrient filled or plain distilled water so the medium is wet but not over flooded.
 
4. Place the seed on top of the wet medium, make sure there is enough water so that half of the seed is submerged in water while the top half of the seed is left exposed to air.
 
5. Close the Germinator with the condensation cap, this will allow the condensation to drip back down the side walls.
 
6. The device can then be placed on a heat mat to keep a desired temperature for germination or simply placed in an area with the correct room temperature, such as under a seedling light. (An 80 degrees Fahrenheit, outer chamber temp, works well for most varieties.)
 
7. Under average conditions the device requires low maintenance by adding water through the water port with a dropper to KEEP THE WATER AT THE MID-SECTION OF THE SEED as the device starts creating condensation within. If used correctly, the seed will not dry out and will not drown.
 
8. After you see that the seed has germinated with a well-established root, you can simply open the condensation cap, hold the device upside-down above the desired planting container and the seedling will drop in place without having to touch it. Or, you can gently scoop the seedling out with a sanitized spoon.
