SHAMAN'S founder; White Buffalo Dragon has a long line of agriculture/horticulture in his family going as far back to his great great grandfather who was a prominent Colorado beet farmer in the early 1900's. Later in the 80's when he was a child, he spent a lot of time in his mothers flower shop; "The Green Thumb", learning to speak with plants.
Dragon has been on the front lines of the Colorado Cannabis Movement his entire adult life: In the mid 90's, he taught himself how to make glass pipes and also played a small and insignificant role in the Paonia Purple Paralyzer Legacy. It was at this time when he first studied the writings of Mel Frank and Ed Rosenthal and began formulating his own plant nutrients. Years later he helped to start Aspen Colorado's first medical marijuana dispensary and began educating the Roaring Fork Valley about the different types of marijuana before leaving Colorado to focus on his glass art. Shaman's Horticulture was then created to help provide the community with the proper care.
